[Adopted 3-3-1988 by Ord. No. 1988-1]
Hellam Township shall provide winter maintenance
(snow and ice removal) on those portions of Haugh's Road in Lower
Windsor Township on the condition that Lower Windsor Township adopts
an ordinance to provide winter maintenance (snow and ice removal)
on those portions of Valley View Road in Hellam Township.
The subject agreement between the two townships
shall go into effect five days after both townships have enacted ordinances
confirming this agreement. The subject agreement shall remain in effect
until five days' after either township has given written notice of
its withdrawal from this agreement.
When the subject agreement becomes effective,
Hellam Township shall be deemed to have transferred its authority
and responsibility to provide winter maintenance on those portions
of Valley View Road in Hellam Township to Lower Windsor Township,
and Lower Windsor Township shall be deemed to have transferred its
authority and responsibility to provide winter maintenance on those
portions of Haugh's Road to Hellam Township.
