A. 
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of all village facilities, including motor vehicles.[1]

Personnel who feel that they must smoke may do so only outside of the building and then only during authorized breaks.
A. 
Violations should be brought to the attention of the appropriate supervisory personnel. Employees may also file a formal complaint with Erie County Commissioner of Health.
B. 
Employees violating this policy may be subject to penalties provided by law.
Copies of these rules will be posted and distributed to all employees and to all prospective employees upon request.
The Recreation Supervisor shall be designated an agent to assist in the enforcement of this policy by notifying employees who are in violation.

This policy may be amended from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Hamburg. All amendments shall be in conformance with New York State Law, and employees will be notified accordingly.
