Pursuant to the provisions of § 806 of the New York General Municipal Law, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Millbrook recognizes that there are rules of ethical conduct for public officers and employees which must be observed if a high degree of moral conduct is to be obtained and if public confidence is to be maintained in our unit of local government. The Village of Millbrook shall maintain a Code of Ethics in the form as adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Millbrook by resolution in accordance with § 806 of the New York General Municipal Law. The Village Board shall annually review the Code of Ethics and amend it as necessary by further resolution.[1]
