A. 
North side. The building line on the north side of West Fulton Street from the west line of Main Street westerly to the tracks of the steam division of the Fonda, Johnstown and Gloversville Railroad Company shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the west line of South Main Street 14.5 feet north of the southerly face of the curb, as the same now exists along the northerly side of West Fulton Street, if said curb were extended easterly in a straight line to South Main Street, and running thence in a westerly direction in a line parallel to and 14.5 feet northerly from the southerly face of the curb as it now exists, along the northerly side of West Fulton Street, to the tracks of the steam division of the Fonda, Johnstown and Gloversville Railroad Company, and no building shall hereafter be erected on the northerly side of West Fulton Street, between the points above mentioned, and above the surface of the street, which building or structure shall extend farther towards the center of West Fulton Street than the line above described.
B. 
South side. The building line on the south side of West Fulton Street between the west line of Main Street and the tracks of the steam division of the Fonda, Johnstown and Gloversville Railroad Company shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the west line of South Main Street 10.5 feet southerly from the northerly face of the curb as it now exists along the southerly side of West Fulton Street if such curb were extended easterly to South Main Street, and running thence westerly on a line parallel to and 10.5 feet southerly from the northerly face of said curb, as it now exists, to the tracks of the steam division of the Fonda, Johnstown and Gloversville Railroad Company, and no building or structure shall hereafter be erected on the south side of West Fulton Street between the points above mentioned, and above the surface of street, which building or structure shall extend farther towards the center of West Fulton Street than the line above described.[1]

The building line on the north side of Washington Street, from the east line of South Main Street to the west line of Fremont Street, shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the east line of South Main Street at a point 10 feet northerly from the southerly face of the curb on the north side of Washington Street as said curb now exists, and if said curb were extended in a straight line westerly to the east line off South Main Street and running thence easterly on a line parallel to and 10 feet northerly from the southerly face of said curb on the north side of Washington Street, as the same now exists, to the west line of Fremont Street, and no building or structure shall hereafter be erected above the surface of the street which building or structure shall extend farther south towards the center of Washington Street than the line above described.
B. 
South side. The building line on the south side of Washington Street between the east line of South Main Street and the west line of Fremont Street shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the east line of South Main Street, which point is 10.5 feet southerly from the northerly face of the curb, as the same now exists, along the south side of Washington Street if said curb were extended in a straight line westerly to South Main Street and running thence easterly parallel to and 19.2 feet southerly from the northerly face of the curb, as it exists, on the south side of Washington Street to the west line of Fremont Street, and no building or structure shall hereafter be erected above the surface of the street which building or structure shall extend farther north towards the center of Washington Street than the line above described.
A. 
West side. The building line on the west side of North Main Street from the north side of Spring Street northerly to west Eighth Avenue shall be as follows: A line running parallel with and 18 feet west from the east face of the curb which now extends along the westerly line of North Main Street between the north side of Spring Street and the south side of West Eighth Avenue.
B. 
East side.
(1) 
The building line on the east side of North Main Street between the south line of Prospect Avenue and the north line of Fremont Street shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the south side of Prospect Avenue 12.7 feet easterly from the face of the curb which now exists on the east side of North Main Street if such line were extended northerly in a straight line; running thence southerly parallel with and 12.7 feet easterly from the face of the curb as it now exists along the east side of North Main Street to the north line of Fremont Street, and no building or structure shall hereafter be erected above the level of the adjacent street which building or structure shall extend farther west towards the center of North Main Street than the line above described.
(2) 
The building line on the east side of North Main Street from the north side of Prospect Avenue to East Eighth Avenue shall be as follows: A line running parallel with and 16.3 feet east from the west face of the curb which now extends along the easterly line of North Main Street between the north side of Prospect Avenue and the south side of East Eighth Avenue.[1]

West side of South Main Street. The building line on the west side of South Main Street from Vine Street southerly to Broad Street shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the south line of Vine Street, which point is 14 feet west from the east line or face of the curb, as the same now exists, on the west side of South Main Street; and running thence southerly parallel to the west side of South Main Street and 14 feet west of the said east line or face of the curb as the same now exists along the west side of South Main Street to the north side of Broad Street, and no building or structure shall hereafter be erected between the points above described, above the level of South Main Street, which building or structure shall extend farther east towards the center of South Main Street than the line above described.
B. 
East side of South Main Street. The building line on the east side of South Main Street, from Forest Street southerly to the point where said South Main Street is crossed by the Fonda, Johnstown and Gloversville steam railroad tracks shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the south line of Forest Street, which point is 14 feet east from the west line or face of the curb as the same now exists on the east side of South Main Street; and running thence southerly on a line parallel with and 14 feet easterly from the west face line of the curb, as the same now exists, on the east side of South Main Street to the Fonda, Johnstown and Gloversville steam railroad tracks, and no building or structure shall hereafter be erected between the points above described, above the level of South Main Street, which building or structure shall extend farther west toward the center of South Main Street than the line above described.
C. 
North side of East Fulton Street. The building line on the north side of East Fulton Street from Fremont Street easterly to Fox Street shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the east line of Fremont Street, which point is 15 feet northerly from the southerly face of the curb, as the same now exists, on the north side of East Fulton Street, and running thence easterly on a line parallel with and 15 feet northerly from the said southerly face of the curb, as the same now exists, on East Fulton Street to the west line of Fox Street, and no building or structure shall hereafter be erected between the points above described, above the level of East Fulton Street, which building or structure shall extend farther south towards the center of East Fulton Street than the line above described.
D. 
South side of East Fulton Street. The building line of the south side of East Fulton Street from Fremont Street easterly to lands of the Prospect Hill Cemetery Association shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the east line of Fremont Street which point is 15 feet southerly from the northerly face of the curb, as the same now exists, on the south side of East Fulton Street, and running thence easterly on a line parallel with and 15 feet southerly from the face of the curb, as the same now exists, on the south side of East Fulton Street to lands of the Prospect Hill Cemetery Association, and no building or structure shall hereafter be erected between the points above described above the level of East Fulton Street, which building or structure shall extend farther north toward the center of East Fulton Street than the line above described.[1]

The building line on the northwesterly side of South Main Street from Broad Street southwesterly to Lexington Avenue shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the westerly side of Broad Street where the westerly side of Broad Street would be intersected by a line running parallel with and 14 feet northerly from the southeasterly face of the curb as the same now extends along and through the northwesterly part of South Main Street; and running from said point of beginning southwesterly parallel to and 14 feet northerly from said southeasterly line or face of said curb to the easterly side of Lexington Avenue, and no building shall hereafter be erected between the points above described, above the level of South Main Street, which building shall extend farther southerly or easterly towards the center of South Main Street than the line above described.
B. 
Southeasterly side. The building line on the southeasterly side of South Main Street from the point where the southeasterly side of South Main Street is crossed by the tracks of the Fonda, Johnstown and Gloversville Railroad Company to the easterly side of Lexington Avenue extended shall be as follows: Beginning at a point where the westerly side of the railroad tracks of the Fonda, Johnstown and Gloversville Railroad Company would be intersected by a line running parallel with and 14 feet southerly from the northwesterly face of the curb, as the same now extends, along and through the southwesterly part of South Main Street, and running from said point of beginning southwesterly parallel to and 14 feet southerly from the northwesterly line or face of said curb to the easterly side of Lexington Avenue, if said Lexington Avenue were extended, and no building shall hereafter be erected between the points above described, above the level of South Main Street, which building shall extend farther northerly or westerly towards the center of South Main Street than the line above described.[1]

Northwesterly side.
(1) 
The building line of the northwesterly side of South Main Street from Lexington Avenue southwesterly to Gloversville-Johnstown city line shall be as follows: Commencing at a point on the westerly side of Lexington Avenue 13 feet northerly from the point where the westerly line of Lexington Avenue, if extended, would intersect the southeasterly face of the curb which extends along and through the northerly and westerly part of South Main Street; thence westerly at right angles with Lexington Avenue to a point where said line drawn at right angles to Lexington Avenue would be intersected by a line running parallel with and 13 feet westerly from the easterly face of the curb which extends along and through the westerly side of South Main Street; thence southerly on a line parallel with and 13 feet westerly and northerly from the easterly and southerly curb which extends along and through the westerly side of South Main Street to the Gloversville-Johnstown city line.
(2) 
No building shall hereafter be erected between the points above described, and above the level of South Main Street, which shall extend farther southerly and easterly towards the center of South Main Street than the line above described.
B. 
Easterly and southerly side.
(1) 
The building line on the easterly and southerly side of South Main Street from the point where the southeasterly side of South Main Street is crossed by the tracks of the Fonda, Johnstown and Gloversville Railroad Company to the Gloversville-Johnstown city line shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the northwesterly side of the tracks of the Fonda, Johnstown and Gloversville Railroad Company as the same cross South Main Street, 13 feet southerly (measured at right angles with South Main Street) from the northwesterly face of the curb which extends through the southerly and easterly side of South Main Street; running thence westerly and southerly on a line parallel with and 13 feet southerly and easterly from the westerly and northerly face of the curb which extends along and through the easterly part of South Main Street to the Gloversville-Johnstown city line.
(2) 
No building shall hereafter be erected between the points above described, above the level of South Main Street, which building shall extend farther northerly or westerly towards the center of South Main Street than the line above described.[1]

Building lines along Church Street.
(1) 
The building line on the northerly side of Church Street between North Main Street and Elm Street shall be as follows: Commencing at a point 10 feet nine inches northerly on the north curbline of Church Street at its intersection with the building line on the west side of North Main Street and running thence in a straight line to a point 10 feet nine inches north of the north curbline of Church Street at its intersection with the east line of Elm Street.
(2) 
The building line on the south side of Church Street between North Main Street and Bleecker Street shall be as follows: Commencing at a point seven feet nine inches south of the south curbline of Church Street at its intersection with the building line on the west side of North Main Street and running thence in a straight line to a point seven feet and nine inches south of the south curbline on Church Street at its intersection with the east line of Bleecker Street.[1]

(3) 
The building line on the south side of Church Street between Bleecker Street and North Arlington Avenue shall be as follows: Commencing at a point seven feet nine inches south of the south curbline of Church Street at its intersection with the westerly line of Bleecker Street and running thence in a straight line to a point seven feet nine inches south of the south curbline of Church Street at its intersection with the building line on the east side of North Arlington Avenue.
B. 
Structures above level of Church Street. No structure shall hereafter be erected above the level of Church Street which shall extend towards the center of Church Street beyond the lines above described.[2]

A. 
Building lines along Fremont Street.
(1) 
The building line on the southerly side of Fremont Street from North Main Street easterly 246 feet more or less to an angle in the street shall be as follows: Commencing at a point 9.7 feet southerly of the south curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the building line on the east side of North Main Street and running thence in a straight line to a point 9.7 feet south of the curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the building line herein established in Subsection A(2) on the west side of Fremont Street from the angle south to East Fulton Street.
(2) 
The building line on the westerly side of Fremont Street from the angle in Fremont Street south to East Fulton Street shall be as follows: Commencing at a point 12 feet westerly of the west curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the building line established in Subsection A(1) herein, running thence in a straight line to a point 12 feet westerly of the west curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the building line on the north side of East Fulton Street.
(3) 
The building line on the westerly side of Fremont Street from East Fulton Street to Washington Street shall be as follows: Commencing at a point 12 feet west of the west curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the building line on the south side of East Fulton Street and running thence in a straight line to a point 12 feet west of the west curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the north line of Washington Street.
(4) 
The building line on the westerly side of Fremont Street from Washington Street to Forest Street shall be as follows: Commencing at a point 13 feet west of the west curb on Fremont Street at its intersection with the south line of Washington Street and running thence in a straight line to a point 13 feet west of the west curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the north line of Forest Street.
(5) 
The building line on the north side of Fremont Street from North Main Street easterly 250 feet, plus or minus, to an angle in Fremont Street shall be as follows: Commencing at a point 10.2 feet north of the north curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the building line on the east side of North Main Street, running thence in a straight line to a point 10.2 feet north of the north curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the building line herein established in Subsection A(6) from the angle in Fremont Street to East Fulton Street.
(6) 
The building line on the east side of Fremont Street from the angle in Fremont Street to East Fulton Street shall be as follows: Commencing at a point on the east side of Fremont Street 13.7 feet east of the east curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the building line established in Subsection A(5) herein, running thence in a straight line to a point 13.7 feet east of the east curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the building line on the north side of East Fulton Street.
(7) 
The building line on the east side of Fremont Street from East Fulton Street to Washington Street shall be as follows: Commencing at a point 12 feet east of the east curbline on the south side of East Fulton Street, running thence in a straight line to a point 12 feet east of the east curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the north line of Washington Street.
(8) 
The building line on the east side of Fremont Street from Washington Street to Forest Street shall be as follows: Commencing at a point 13 feet east of the east curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the south line of Washington Street, running thence in a straight line to a point 13 feet east of the east curbline of Fremont Street at its intersection with the north line of Forest Street.
B. 
Structures above level of Fremont Street. No structure shall hereafter be erected above the level of Fremont Street which shall extend towards the center of Fremont Street beyond the lines above described.
This Article shall not affect any building or buildings already erected and existing at the time of the adoption hereof.
Any person violating any provision of this Article may be punishable by a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $250 or imprisonment for a period not exceeding 15 days, or both.

ln addition to the penalties hereinbefore described, the Common Council, whenever it has evidence that there exists or is about to exist a violation of any of the provisions of this Article, may, in its discretion, authorize the City Attorney to institute any appropriate proceeding, at law or equity, to restrain, prevent or discontinue such violation or to remove any building erected in violation hereof.
