A. 
All driveways, access driveways and parking areas shall be kept free of all nuisances and any hazards to the safety of any person utilizing the premises. The owner, operator, agent and/or occupant shall be responsible for maintaining the driveway, access driveways and parking areas free from hazards and conditions, which include but are not limited to the following surface hazards such as holes, broken or missing pavement, breaks, projections, obstructions, and loose or missing pavers.
B. 
Parking on premises is limited to areas that are appropriately paved for such use in the side yard, rear yard or access driveway unless otherwise approved by the Planning Board.
C. 
Maximum width of an access drive shall be 18 feet unless otherwise approved by the Planning Board.
D. 
Unless approved during a site plan or special permit review process, there shall be no pavement in the front yard except in an access drive. Pavement will be blacktop, cement or pavers for such use, except as set forth in Subsection E of this section.

E. 
For parking lots and driveways less than 8,000 square feet in total surface area the following paving alternative is available in addition to those already specified in Subsection D above:

(1) 
Paving materials shall consist of at least six inches of compacted base course and six inches of compacted surface course. Surface course materials may be substituted for base course materials as long as the minimum compacted thickness of each course is maintained. The base course shall be installed on a graded and compacted subgrade. The subgrade, base, and surface courses shall be graded planar and have at least 1/8 inch per foot positive slope to allow for drainage.
(2) 
Base course shall be run of bank gravel, or crushed gravel, or screened gravel conforming to the following gradation:

(3) 
Surface course shall be either reclaimed asphalt pavement millings or crushed stone which is the product of crushing or blasting ledge rock. In the case of reclaimed asphalt pavement millings, the material shall be at least 95% by weight reclaimed bituminous pavement material and have a maximum top size of two inches, and be well-graded from coarse to fine and free from organic or other deleterious material. In the case of crushed stone, the following gradation shall be used:

(4) 
Parking lots and driveways installed under this section shall be subject to maintenance as necessary to maintain a true and planar graded surface. This maintenance shall be performed at least once annually.
