A Municipal Court for the Township of Manchester, in the County of Ocean is established, as of January 1, 1949, as amended and supplemented.
The name of the Municipal Court shall be the "Municipal Court of Township of Manchester, in the County of Ocean."
The Municipal Court shall have a seal which shall bear the impress of the name of the Court.
There shall be a Judge of the Municipal Court, who shall be appointed by the Mayor, and who shall serve for a term of three years from the date of his appointment and until his successor is appointed and qualified.
The Municipal Court and the Judge of the Municipal Court shall have, possess and exercise all the functions, powers, duties and jurisdiction conferred by the provisions of Chapter 293 of the Laws of 1993 (N.J.S.A. 2B:12-1 et seq.), as amended and supplemented, or by any other law.

There shall be a Court Administrator of the Municipal Court, who shall be appointed by the Mayor, and who shall serve for a term of three years from the date of his appointment and until his successor is appointed and qualified. He shall perform such functions and duties as shall be prescribed for him by law, the rules applicable to municipal courts, and by the Judge of the Municipal Court.
The Municipal Court shall be held in the Township Hall. The Judge of the Municipal Court shall sit from 9:00 a.m. until the calendar is completed, but not later than 12:00 midnight, and at such other times as the business of the court may require, subject to the rules applicable to municipal courts.
