A. 
No person, association or corporation shall give any carnival, exhibition, performance, entertainment or other show or amusement for money or hire, within the limits of the Village, without first obtaining approval therefor from the Board of Trustees and receiving a permit from the Clerk of the Village Board upon payment of the license fees.
B. 
The schedule of license fees shall be established by resolution of the Board of Trustees, and a copy of the current schedule of fees is available in the Village Clerk's office.
The Village Board is hereby authorized to grant a free permit for any exhibition or performance that is strictly educational in its purpose or for the benefit of any charitable, religious or benevolent purpose or solely for the benefit of any fire company located in the Village.
Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding $1,000 a day for each and every offense, and in addition thereto, a violation of this chapter shall constitute disorderly conduct, and a person violating the same shall be deemed a disorderly person.
