The use of part-time/seasonal police officers by the County
of Suffolk to restore various foot patrols within the County of Suffolk
is hereby reaffirmed and ratified as the official policy of the County
of Suffolk, without limitation or restriction.
The County of Suffolk hereby reserves its absolute right to
utilize part-time/seasonal police officers at any time in the future,
as it deems appropriate, until such time as this policy is modified
by duly enacted resolution, anything in any letter agreements between
the County of Suffolk and the Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association
(PBA) to the contrary notwithstanding.
