No person shall have, keep or maintain any animal or fowl, with
the exception of dogs, cats, rabbits, parrots, parakeets, mynah birds,
love birds and other normally accepted psittacine birds, within the
territorial jurisdiction of this municipality.
A.
Unless otherwise provided in the chapter, penalties against persons violating the provisions of this article shall be imposed in accordance with the provisions of § 1-15.

B.
A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day on which
a violation occurs or continues.
C.
The imposition of a fine or imprisonment as punishment for a violation
of any provision of this article shall not be deemed to be in lieu
of any provision of any other ordinance providing for the health,
safety and welfare of the citizens of this municipality, as heretofore
may have been adopted or shall heretofore be adopted.
