A. 
The Bureau of Ambulance Services is permitted to make a charge to patients who require ambulance service in accordance with the New Jersey Medicaid Program.
B. 
The Bureau of Ambulance Services is permitted to make a charge equal to that permitted by the Medicaid Program to all other patients who require ambulance service and who are not covered by the Medicaid Program, provided that the Director of the Department in which the Bureau of Ambulance Services is situated[1] can waive the charge for any patient who lacks insurance coverage for such services.
