This article shall be administered and enforced by the Bureau of Recreation in the Department of Human Services, hereinafter referred to in this article as the "Bureau."

A. 
The Bureau is hereby authorized and empowered, from time to time, to adopt reasonable rules and regulations concerning the use and control of public parks in the City.
B. 
Such rules and regulations shall be printed by the Bureau and posted and kept posted in conspicuous places in said parks.
C. 
Any person who violates any such rules or regulations after the same have been duly adopted and posted by the Bureau shall be guilty of a violation of this article and shall be subject to the penalty for violation of this article as provided in § 562-11 of this article.
No person shall enter upon any portion of lawn or other cultivated ground in any City park when forbidden so to do by an official sign or other official notification.
No person shall throw, deposit or leave any paper or waste material whatsoever in or upon any part of the surface of any City park or in or upon any park property or appurtenance therein except in the receptacles provided in such park for that purpose.

No person above the age of 14 years shall play at any game in a City park, except at such times and in such places and under such regulations as may be designated in writing by the Bureau.
No person shall, without the written permission of the Bureau, place or erect any booth, stand or other structure or place any wagon or other vehicle, except such as may be propelled by hand and adapted for the carrying of children, invalids or dolls, on or in any City park.
No person shall sell or offer for sale within the City parks any goods, wares or merchandise whatsoever or display or distribute any advertising device, circular or card in any such park.

No person shall deface, damage or in any way injure any statuary or pedestal or other structure or park appurtenance whatsoever in the City parks.
No person shall hunt, molest, injure, capture or in any way interfere with the freedom of any bird, being free and undomesticated, in any City park, nor hunt, molest, injure, capture or in any way interfere with the freedom of any squirrel, fish or other animal, being the property of the City, in any such park.

A. 
No person shall utter any profane, threatening or abusive language or loud outcry or perform any obscene or indecent act, commit any nuisance, solicit any contribution or subscription, nor play any game of chance in any City park, nor bring into such park any instrument of chance or gambling whatsoever.
B. 
Designated children play areas.
(1) 
Definitions.
As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
ADULT
Any person who is 18 years of age or older.
CHILD or CHILDREN
Any person who is 12 years of age or younger.
(2) 
Children's play area. Pursuant to § 562-2 above, the Division of Recreation in the Department of Human Services shall adopt rules and regulations designating certain areas within City of Camden parks as children's play areas.
(3) 
Posting of signs. Any area designated by the Division of Recreation in the Department of Human Services as a children's play area shall have signs posted in close proximity to and surrounding such designated children's play area to so advise and inform the public of such designation as a children's play area.
(4) 
Illegal conduct. It shall be unlawful for an adult to enter or remain in a children's play area unless such adult is accompanied by a child or children.

Unless otherwise provided in the chapter, penalties against persons violating the provisions of this article shall be imposed in accordance with the provisions of § 1-15.
