Requests for public access to records shall be accepted and
records produced during all hours regularly open for business. These
hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
A notice containing the title or name and business address of
the records access officers and appeals person or body and the location
where records can be seen or copies shall be posted in a conspicuous
location wherever records are kept and/or published in a local newspaper
of general circulation.
If any provision of this article or the application thereof
to any person or circumstances is adjudged invalid by a court of competent
jurisdiction, such judgment shall not affect or impair the validity
of the other provisions of this article or the application thereof
to other persons and circumstances.

Records Retention and Disposition Schedule LGS-1,
issued pursuant to Part 185, Title 8, of the Official Compilation
of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York and containing
minimum legal retention periods for town records, is hereby adopted
for use by the Town Clerk of this town.
This Board hereby authorizes the disposition
of records in accordance with the minimum legal retention periods
set forth in Records Retention and Disposition Schedule No. 19-TC-1.
The Town Clerk be and hereby is directed to
furnish a certified copy of this Article to the Commissioner of Education.
