As long as a junior member serves on a committee, total membership
of the committee is increased by one member and the junior member
may be counted towards a quorum.
An individual must be a resident of the Town of Indian Head and a
sophomore or junior student at a public, private or parochial high
school or a home-schooled student, and less than 18 years of age,
to be eligible to serve as a junior member of a committee.
A committee junior member serves a one-year term from August 1 through
July 30, or until the member no longer is eligible to serve. A committee
junior member is eligible for reappointment to successive terms as
long as the member remains eligible to serve.
