Said pension shall be in the amount of $5,000 annually, to be paid to the deceased fireman's widow during her widowhood, said pension to cease, terminate and come to an end if and when said widow shall cease to be a widow.
The annual pension of $5,000 shall be included in the annual budget and tax levy of the municipality and shall be raised by taxation and shall be paid in the same manner as municipal employees are paid.
On or before January 1 of each year, each widow who is eligible for this pension must submit in writing a certified statement to establish her eligibility as a widow for collection of the pension. Said written certification should be submitted to the Business Administrator at the Municipal Building, Township of Saddle Brook.
