A Zoning Officer shall be designated by the Borough Council, and the Borough Council may also designate as many Deputy Zoning Officers as it deems necessary.
In case any building or structure is constructed, extended, altered, repaired, changed, converted or maintained, or any building, structure or land is used in violation of this chapter, the Borough of Kane, in addition to other remedies, may institute any appropriate action or proceeding to prevent such unlawful construction, extension, alteration, repair, change, conversion, maintenance or use to restrain, correct or abate such violation, to prevent the occupancy of said building, structure or land, or to prevent any act, conduct, business or use in violation of this chapter, in or about such premises.
Any person, partnership or corporation who or which shall violate the provisions of chapter shall, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $500, or such person, the members of such partnership or the officers of such corporation to imprisonment for not more than 60 days. Each day that a violation is continued shall constitute a separate offense. All fines collected for the violation of this chapter shall be paid over to the Borough of Kane.
This chapter shall take effect on October 17, 1980 (30 days from the final passage date).

The fee for the application for a zoning permit shall be $75 for residential and $100 for commercial applications.
