[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the Township of
Abington 3-13-2003 by Ord. No. 1891. This
ordinance superseded former Ch. 50, Wards, adopted 12-14-1972
by Ord. No. 1339, as amended. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Township of Abington is hereby reapportioned and redistricted into
15 wards by realigning the boundaries of the presently existing wards 1, 2,
3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. The boundaries and the number
of each wards shall be as set forth on the attached map which is made a part
of this chapter.[1]

Manager and may be viewed there during regular office hours.
The incumbent Commissioners residing in ward numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 shall continue to represent the revised
and realigned ward numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and
15 until their current terms expire.
