A. 
There shall be no parking at any time on any street, roadway or highway maintained by the Township of Manalapan in the Township of Manalapan of the listed vehicles as defined by New Jersey Motor Vehicle and Traffic Laws, Title 39, Chapter 1, Section 39:1-1 and Chapter 3, Section 39:3-10.11.
(1) 
Trailers.
(2) 
Semitrailers.
(3) 
Pull-trailers.
(4) 
Truck tractors.
(5) 
Road tractors.
(6) 
Trucks.

(7) 
Motor-drawn vehicles.
(8) 
Omnibuses.
(9) 
School vehicles Type I.
(10) 
School vehicles Type II.
(11) 
Recreational vehicles.
B. 
Excluded from Subsection A above are any motor vehicles having no more than four wheels or tires, one on each axle.

C. 
Excluded from Subsection A above are vehicles which are actively engaged in the loading or unloading of persons, goods, wares or merchandise and/or vehicles which are actively engaged in the performance of a service.

Unless authorized by a sworn Law Enforcement Officer, no person shall operate, park, leave or be in possession of a motor vehicle which is unregistered or has a suspended registration in any parking yards (lots) and parking places, which are open to the public or to which the public is invited whether owned or maintained by a governmental entity or in conjunction with any business or enterprise whether public, quasi-public or private.

This section shall not apply to:
A. 
Private property to which the public is not invited, such as residential lots.
B. 
Motor vehicles which are exempted from registration under Title 39 of the New Jersey Statutes, such as car dealer inventory.

Any police officer is authorized to order the removal of any unregistered vehicle in violation of this section to a storage space or garage, and the expense involved in such a removal and storage of the vehicle shall be borne by the owner of the vehicle, except that the expense shall be borne by the lessee of a leased vehicle.

Unless another penalty is expressly provided by New Jersey Statues, every person convicted of a violation of this article or any supplement thereto shall be liable for the penalties set forth in § 226-2 of the Code of the Township of Manalapan.
