It shall be unlawful to operate for gain or amusement in the Borough any bagatelle or pin and ball game or device without first obtaining a license therefor.
The Borough Clerk upon authorization by the Mayor and Council is hereby authorized to issue such licenses as follows:
A. 
No above described devices shall be eligible for license if fee is less than $0.05.
B. 
The license for each and every device shall be issued for one year from date of such issuance and the fee of a license shall be $10 per year for any part thereof.
C. 
The license shall be prominently displayed by attaching same upon each device or substitute machine.
D. 
The placement of each machine or game shall have the approval of the Chief of Police of the Borough.

E. 
This article does not provide and prohibits the licensing of any bagatelle, pin or ball game device which automatically vends coins, tokens or tickets.
Children below the age of 16 years are not permitted to play.
Violations of the provisions of this article shall be punished as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III.

It shall be unlawful for any person to perform, show or exhibit within the limits of this Borough, for any price, gain or reward, any exhibition of natural curiosities or artificial curiosities, caravan of animals, theatrical exhibition, circus, concert of music, either vocal or instrumental, or both, moving-picture show or other public performance without first having obtained a license for that purpose as hereinafter provided.
The Borough Council, upon application being made to it for any such license as aforesaid, may grant such license in its discretion and the same, if granted, shall be given in writing under the hand of the Borough Clerk upon payment of the license fee prescribed. Any license so granted may be revoked by the Mayor and Council for failure by the licensee to comply with, or for the violation of, any law of this state or Borough.
The Council shall have the power, by resolution, to fix and determine the terms, fees and conditions under which licenses required by this article shall be granted.
Nothing in this article shall be taken to require a license for the holding of any entertainment, exhibition, show, concert or moving-picture show given for the benefit of any club or society in this Borough, or for educational purposes for which 10 or more citizens of the Borough shall act as guarantors, nor shall any license be required by any person maintaining and operating a permanent theater or concert hall in this Borough; provided, however, that nothing in this article contained shall make it lawful for any traveling caravan, show or exhibition of the name or nature of a traveling carnival to show, exhibit or give any public performance or entertainment within the limits of this Borough without a license for that purpose; and provided further that no carousel or merry-go-round shall be operated within the limits of this Borough without a license for that purpose.
Violations of the provisions of this article shall be punished as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III.
