There shall be a Emergency Management Coordinator. As a condition of his or her appointment and his or her right to continue for the full term of appointment, the Emergency Management Coordinator shall successfully complete within one year immediately following his or her appointment the current approved civil defense director-coordinator course as required by N.J.S.A. App. A:9-40.1.
There shall also be a Emergency Management Council composed of not more than 15 members who shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Township Council in accordance with the provisions of App. A:9-41.
