A. 
For violation of any provisions of this chapter, the owner, contractor or other persons interested as general agent, architect, building contractor, owner, tenant or any other persons who commit, permit, take part or assist in any violation of this chapter or who maintain any building or premises or uses of any land where violation of this chapter shall exist shall be subject to the following penalties:
(1) 
For the first offense: a fine not in excess of $250.
(2) 
For the second offense: a fine not in excess of $500.
(3) 
For the third and any subsequent offense thereafter: a fine not in excess of $1,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both, at the discretion of the judge before whom such a conviction may be had.
B. 
A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
A. 
Periodic examination. The Mayor and Council shall provide for a general examination of the Master Plan and development regulations by the Planning Board at least every six years.
B. 
Reports. The Planning Board shall prepare a report of findings in its periodic examination as aforesaid and in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55D-89.
