The Board shall consist of not more than seven
members.
The regular meetings shall be held on the third
Thursday of each and every month at the office of the Board, Maywood,
New Jersey, at 7:30 p.m.
Special meetings may be called at any time by
the President or upon request of three members of the Board.
Four members shall constitute a quorum for the
transaction of business by the Board.
At the annual meeting or as soon thereafter
as possible, the President will appoint the following Committees of
three members each to serve for one year; the Finance Committee, the
Sanitary Committee, the Law and Ordinance Committees and others as
deemed necessary.
The President shall preside at all meetings
of the Board and appoint all committees. In the absence of the President,
the Vice President shall preside. During the intervals between regular
meetings, the President will represent the Board in all judicial matters;
in his absence, the Vice President or an authorized representative
designated by the President.

The Health Officer and also the Sanitary Inspector
shall each make a written report at each regular meeting. It shall
be their duties to bring to the attention of the Board any matter
that may be prejudicial to the health of the borough. The Health Officer
and also the Sanitary Inspector shall perform such other duties as
may be directed by the Board.

The Board shall have the power to employ such
additional services as it may deem necessary and shall also delegate
discretionary authority to the Health Officer and also to the Sanitary
Inspector to employ such services as may be needed in case of emergency.
At the meetings of the Board, the order of business
shall be as follows:
A. Adoption of the minutes of the previous meeting.
C. Report of standing committees.
D. Report of special committees.
E. Report of Health Officer.
F. Report of Sanitary Inspector.
