[Adopted 6-25-1963 (Ch. 177, Art. IX, of the 1974 Code)]
There is hereby created the office of Public Health Nurse for the Board of Health.
The Public Health Nurse shall hold a current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in the State of New Jersey.
A. 
The Public Health Nurse shall give, arrange for, teach and supervise nursing care of the sick and injured, and shall make all necessary maternal and child welfare visits.
B. 
The Public Health Nurse shall arrange, supervise and be responsible for all regular and special clinics provided by the Board and shall perform such other duties as may be fixed by the Board.
A. 
The office shall be a part-time office, and appointments to the office shall terminate on December 31 of each year.
B. 
The incumbent shall receive compensation as provided in the annual Salary Ordinance adopted by the Board of Health.[1]
