A. Prohibition. No person shall ride, lead, cause to
stand or travel a horse or pony on any public sidewalk in the Town
except for the purpose of egress or ingress to the premises immediately
adjacent to a sidewalk.
B. Penalty. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this By-Law shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine
of $50.

A. Definitions. As used in this By-Law, unless the context
otherwise indicates, "horse" shall be intended to include stallion,
mare, foal, colt, filly, gelding and pony.
B. Registration. All horses kept, harbored or maintained
in the Town on or after the effective date of this By-Law shall be
registered by their owners and/or keepers with the Inspector of Animals
within 30 days thereafter. Such registration shall be made upon printed
forms provided for such purpose and shall state the name and address
of the owner and/or keeper, and the name, color, age and sex of each
horse.
C. Penalty. Whoever violates any provision of this By-Law
shall be punished by a fine of $50 for each offense. Each 10 days
that such violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate
offense.
