GENERAL REFERENCES
Police cooperation agreement — See Ch. A122.
A Police Department has already been established in and for the Township
of East Bradford, and such establishment is hereby ratified. The Chief of
Police shall be the chief executive of the Police Department. He shall, under
the direction of the Supervisors, be in charge of the police force and have
supervision over its members and the exercise of their powers, duties and
authority.
Subordinate to the Chief of Police in the Police Department shall be
the patrolmen, or such classifications to which the Board shall, at any specific
time, have appointed one or more police officers. The number of persons to
serve in each of such subordinate classifications, on a full-time and/or part-time
basis, and the compensation of each, shall be as determined by the Board of
Supervisors of the Township of East Bradford from time to time.
