For the reasons set forth in the recitals contained in the Cooperation
Agreement between the Borough of West Chester and East Bradford Township regarding
recreation services, which agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof,[1] said agreement is hereby approved in the form as attached, and
the appropriate officers of this township are hereby authorized and directed
to execute and deliver said agreement to the appropriate officers of the Borough
of West Chester in the form approved herein.

The township's proper officers are hereby authorized and empowered
on the township's behalf to take such action and execute such documents
as said officers may deem necessary to carry out the purposes and intent of
this ordinance. The Township Administrator is hereby authorized and directed
to deliver to the other party of said agreement certified copies of this ordinance.
If any sentence, clause, section or part of this ordinance is, for any
reason, found to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, such unconstitutionality,
illegality or invalidity shall not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions,
sentences, clauses, sections or parts hereof. It is hereby declared as the
intent of the Supervisors of the Township of East Bradford that this ordinance
would have been adopted had such unconstitutional, illegal or invalid sentence,
clause, section or part thereof not been included herein.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances conflicting or inconsistent herewith
are hereby repealed.
This ordinance shall become effective upon enactment as provided by
law.
