Public records of the Borough shall be open for inspection by members of the public as provided by N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 as may be amended from time to time. Such inspection shall be made only at reasonable times during business hours and without interference to the conduct of the affairs of the office or other place where such records are kept or maintained.
The following fees shall be charged for copies of public documents:
A. 
Birth, marriage, civil union, death certificates and domestic partnership certificates: $10 each.

B. 
Firearms.
(1) 
Permit to purchase pistol, revolver or other firearms: $2.
(2) 
Purchaser identification card for firearms, other than pistols or revolvers: $5.
C. 
Duplication of records.

(1) 
A copy or copies of a government record may be purchased by any person upon payment of the fee prescribed by law or regulation. Except as otherwise provided by law or regulation, the fee assessed for the duplication of a government record embodied in the form of printed matter shall be $0.05 per letter-size page or smaller, and $0.07 per legal-size page or larger. Access to electronic records and nonprinted materials shall be provided free of charge, but the Borough may charge for the actual costs of any needed supplies such as computer discs.
(2) 
Fees for police reports when requested in person during regular business hours (other than Municipal Court Discovery) shall be $0.05 per letter-size page or smaller and $0.07 per legal-size page or larger. If copies of reports are requested other than in person, an additional fee of up to $5 may be added to cover the administrative costs of the report. Fees for Municipal Court Discovery requests shall be $0.75 per page for each of the first 10 pages; $0.50 per page for the 11th to the 20th pages; $0.25 per page for all pages over 20; $5 for each CD, video or audio tape reproduction; and all photographs will be photocopied. Actual photo reproductions will be prepared only upon separate request and advanced payment for the actual costs of the reproductions.

D. 
In the discretion of the Borough Clerk, where reproduction costs will exceed $5, a deposit up to the entire estimated cost shall be posted with the Clerk upon demand.
E. 
In the event that the nature or extent of the duplication exceeds the above referenced fee schedule, the Borough shall have the right to charge the actual cost to the person requesting such copies, but the Clerk shall first inform the requestor of such actual cost prior to incurring same.
F. 
For official searches for municipal liens (tax searches) or for improvements authorized but not assessed: $10.
G. 
For a continuation of an official search for municipal liens or for improvements authorized but not assessed within three years from the date of the original search: $2 per year.
H. 
For a certificate as to approval of subdivision: $2 each.
I. 
For duplicate tax, water and sewer bills: $2 each.
J. 
Address labels from the tax list shall be $25 for nonprofit organizations and $50 for all others.
K. 
A copy of the current zoning pamphlet shall be $25.
L. 
For a street index report: $25.
