[Adopted 11-13-1967 (Ch. 2, Art. I, Sec. 2-13, of the Code of Ordinances)]
Whenever, under the provisions of this Code or any other law,
a bond is required of any person or of an official other than the
City Manager or Corporation Counsel, it shall be approved as to form
by the Corporation Counsel, it shall be approved as to form by the
Corporation Counsel and as to the sufficiency of the sureties by the
City Manager.
If the City Manager or the Corporation Counsel shall be required
to execute a bond for any purpose, the bond of the former official,
as to the sufficiency of the sureties, shall be approved by the Mayor,
and the bond of the latter official, as to form, shall be approved
by the City Manager.
