The City of Newburgh does hereby adopt the provisions of § 384,
as specified in Subdivisions f, g and h, of the Retirement and Social
Security Law and elects to make contributions to the pension accumulation
fund for the purpose of providing additional 1/60 benefits for each
year of service beyond the completion of 25 years of continuous service
for members of the Newburgh Fire Department who previously elected
the twenty-five-year retirement option.
This resolution and election shall be effective April 1, 1971,
and said benefits shall commence on said date.
