All poles, guys, wires, cables and appurtenances now erected or as may hereafter be erected by any firm, corporation, association or individual (hereinafter called "owner") on the streets, alleys, lanes, ways or other public places in the City of Greensburg shall be subject to regulations by the proper officials of the City of Greensburg (hereinafter called "city"), as set forth in subsequent sections of this chapter.[1]

I): Section 102, entitled "Interference with Public Improvements; Location and Relocation of Facilities; Restoration of Streets, Alleys and Public Places"; Section 103, entitled "Prior Approval of Underground Connections; Permit Required"; and Section 104, entitled "Minimum Height of Poles Where There Are Shade Trees and High-Voltage Wires."
No signs of any kind shall be placed on poles without prior consent of the owner and until formal permission has been secured from the city. Penalty for violation of this section of this chapter shall be a fine of twenty-five dollars ($25.) and costs.[1]
