[Adopted 5-7-1984 as § 2-3-12 of the 1984 Code]
There is hereby created the Building Department
of the City. This Department shall consist of the Building Inspector
and such other officers and employees as may be provided for by the
Common Council.
The Building Department, heretofore established,
is hereby subdivided into:
A.
Construction Division (which shall include gas piping
within the construction).
B.
Electrical Division.
C.
Plumbing Division.[1]

Editor's Note: Original § 2-3-12(b), (c) and (d), regarding the Building Inspector, which immediately followed this section, were deleted at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. II). The City of Montello has entered into a contract with Independent Inspections, Ltd., to provide inspection services in the City. A copy of the contract is on file and available for inspection in the City Clerk-Treasurer's office.
