On and after the passage and approval of this chapter, it shall be the duty of each and every owner, trustee, lessee, agent and occupant of each and every house, building or other structure in Kilbuck Township to cause the same to be numbered in accordance with this chapter.
The number shall be placed in a conspicuous place above or beside each front door to each house, building or other structure in Kilbuck Township. The number must be at least three inches in height and constituted so as to be in contrast to the immediate background, thereby making same readily visible for observation from the street or alley on which the structure fronts. In the event that the subject structure is situated so far back from the fronting street so as to make ready visibility impossible, then the owner/occupant shall place the number above-described at or near the entrance to said property so as to enable prompt identification.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $300.
