No person shall consume any beer, wine, malt or alcoholic beverages, nor have in his possession any open containers thereof, upon any public way, sidewalk or Town-owned land unless a license has been duly granted by the appropriate licensing authority.

The Town authorizes the Selectmen to issue winter seasonal alcoholic beverage licenses (i.e., December 1 to April 1 of the following year), as provided under MGL c. 138, § 17.
