There is hereby adopted by the Borough of Towanda, County of
Bradford and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for the purpose of prescribing
rules and regulations for the proper installation and maintenance
of heating, cooling and ventilating systems of buildings within the
Borough of Towanda, that certain model code known as the "2006 International
Mechanical Code," published by the International Code Council, Inc.,
and the whole thereof, save and except such portions as are hereinafter
deleted, modified or amended, and of which not less than three copies
have been and now are filed in the office of the Secretary of the
Borough of Towanda, Bradford County, Pennsylvania, and the same hereby
is adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein,
and from and after the date of the passage and publication of this
article, the provisions thereof shall be controlling in the installation
and maintenance of all heating, cooling and ventilation systems within
the corporate limits of the Borough of Towanda, and shall be known
as the "Towanda Mechanical Code." It is the intent of this article
that all future additions and revisions of the 2006 International
Mechanical Code shall be deemed to have been adopted by reference
by the Council of the Borough of Towanda as soon as the same shall
be published.

In all aspects, the designation of enforcing official and the
provisions for violations and penalties shall be the same as those
contained in the Towanda Building Code. The schedule of fees shall
be the fees determined from time to time by resolution of the Council
of the Borough of Towanda, Pennsylvania.
