[Adopted 8-6-1894]
From and after the passage and legal publication of this article,
it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to sprinkle or turn
water with hose on the pavements of Main Street without permission
from the Mayor of said Borough. Any person violating the provision
of this article may be arrested on sight and, on conviction before
the Mayor or Magisterial District Judge of said Borough, shall forfeit
and pay the sum of $3 for the first offense and $5, with costs, for
the second or any subsequent offense, for the use of the Borough.
