[The Board of Trustees of the Village of Wolcott adopted
a resolution 8-4-1942 adopting provisions covered by § 1894-a of the
old Penal Law, which prohibited the sale, use, etc., of fireworks
except by permit. The current provisions regarding fireworks which
replaced § 1894-a are found in §§ 270.00,
405.00 and 405.05 of the Penal Law.]
