[Adopted by Ord. No. 6-94 (Sec. 2-11 of the 1972 Revised General Ordinances)]
The office of Deputy Township Tax Collector is hereby established.
The appointment thereto shall be made by the governing body for a
term of one year to commence on January 1 of each year. It shall be
the duty of the Deputy Township Tax Collector generally to aid and
assist the Township Tax Collector in the performance of the duties
of his office in such manner as the Township Tax Collector shall from
time to time direct. The Deputy Township Tax Collector shall perform
the duties of the Township Tax Collector in the latter's absence
or incapacity under supervision of Township's Auditor or Certified
Tax Collector, to be hired on temporary basis.
