The provisions of this article shall apply except when it is
necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or
in compliance with the directions of a police officer or official
traffic control device.
Wherever a space shall be marked off on any street for the parking
of an individual vehicle, every vehicle there parked shall be parked
within the lines bounding such space.

A. Stopping, parking and standing shall be hereafter prohibited as established
by order of the Chief of Police of the Village as filed in the office
of the Clerk of the Village, as same may be amended from time to time
by the Chief of Police or by resolution of the Board of Trustees.
All existing stopping, parking and standing regulation signs are hereby
continued without the necessity of such filing.
B. Village parking lots and properties. In addition to any regulations
promulgated as above, the following regulations shall apply to Village
parking lots and properties:
(1) No person shall park and/or store any vehicle, trailer or boat in
any municipal parking lot for more than three consecutive days in
a calendar month without prior written permission of the Village Board.
No person shall leave any other materials in any Village parking lot
or on any Village property without written permission of the Village
Board.
(2) The repair, servicing, cleaning or dismantling of motor vehicles
or other vehicles in any Village parking lot or other Village property
shall be prohibited.
(3) Any vehicle stopped, parked or left standing in violation of the rules promulgated under this §
324-19 may be removed pursuant to the provisions of Article
V of this chapter.
