Portable on-demand storage structures and temporary storage
units (hereinafter known as "PODS®") placed on a residential,
corporate or association property shall first secure a permit from
the Borough of Kenhorst office.
Permit fees for the use of PODS® shall be as set from time
to time by resolution of Borough Council.
PODS® units shall be placed on the owner's driveway
of the property. All locations must be paved off-street surfaces.
If PODS® units must be placed on a street, the property
owner must obtain preapproval of the location and erect no-parking
signs 24 hours to 48 hours prior to placement of the PODS®. No-parking
signs may be obtained at the Borough of Kenhorst. The fee for each
no-parking sign shall be as set by resolution of Borough Council.
All PODS® must have reflective fluorescent signs posted, and blinking
lights, which shall be visible at night.
Only one PODS® unit may be placed at or near a property
at one time.
Any person who shall place a PODS® unit in violation of this article shall be punishable as provided in Chapter
1, Article
I, Enforcement; General Penalty, of this Code.
