18B, Art. IV, of the 1981 Code)]
Whereas, the Town of Alden, during the year 1973, is celebrating
the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Town of Alden; and
Whereas, it is deemed appropriate by the Town Board of the Town
of Alden that an official flower be adopted by the Town Board during
the year of the Town of Alden Sesquicentennial; and
Whereas, the Town Board and its citizens have determined that
the flower which would best represent the Town of Alden as an official
flower shall be the violet.
The violet shall henceforth be designated as the official flower
of the Town of Alden.
