It is unlawful to construct, maintain or permit to remain any
building, part of a building or structure which endangers the health,
safety or welfare of the public in the Borough of Merchantville.
Each day's violation of this chapter shall constitute a
separate offense.
Any person, firm, corporation or agent who shall violate any
of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof,
be sentenced to a fine of not more than two hundred dollars ($200.)
or to imprisonment for any term not exceeding ninety (90) days, or
both.
This chapter is intended to maintain and preserve the public
peace, health and safety in the Borough of Merchantville and shall
take effect immediately after final passage and publication as provided
by law.
