That the Office of Chief Finance Officer for the Borough of Wenonah is hereby established in accordance with the authority of Chapter 110, P.L. 1988.[1]

The Chief Finance Officer shall be a person who is a "certified municipal finance officer" appointed by the municipality, as defined by New Jersey Statutes.[1]

The Chief Finance Officer shall carry out the responsibilities established by the mandates of New Jersey statutes and regulations relevant thereto.
The Chief Finance Officer shall be certified by January 1, 1991.
The governing body shall make separate designations of salary by subsequent Salary Ordinances.
No member of the Borough Council of the Borough of Wenonah shall be appointed as the Chief Finance Officer.
If any part of parts of this ordinance are held to be invalid for any reason, law or decision, the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
Any and all other ordinances inconsistent with this ordinance are repealed to the extent of the inconsistency.
