The Board of Supervisors of the Township of West Manchester,
York County, Pennsylvania, hereby expresses and affirms its intent
to organize a joint authority with the Municipalities[1] for the purpose of owning, constructing, improving, maintaining
and operating a public sewer system and sewage treatment works providing
service to the Municipalities and other municipalities located in
the greater York, Pennsylvania area.

Editor's Note: The Borough of North York, Township of
Manchester, Township of Spring Garden, Township of West Manchester,
and Township of York are described as the "Municipalities" in the
whereas clauses of Ord. No. 2020-04.
The Township of West Manchester shall proceed to cause a notice
of the adoption of this article to be published in accordance with
the Act[1] and the filing of Articles of Incorporation with the Secretary
of the Commonwealth along with proofs of publication.

The Articles of Incorporation attached hereto as Exhibit A[1] shall be executed by the appropriate officials of the
Municipalities with such changes that are authorized and necessary
for the filing of said Articles of Incorporation with the Secretary
of the Commonwealth.

The officers of the West Manchester Township Board of Supervisors
are hereby authorized to take any and all other action necessary to
fulfill the intent of this article.
