A. New
and existing buildings must have address identification that is legible
and placed in a position that is visible from the street or road in
front of the property. Address identification characters shall contrast
with the background and be a minimum of four (4) inches (102 mm) high
with a minimum width of 0.5 inches (18 mm). The address number shall
be clearly posted on the property immediately after the date of issuance
of the Zone Compliance Permit issued by the Village of Indian Point
and shall remain in place until the building is removed from that
place.
B. If
access to a residential or commercial property or building is by means
of a private driveway and the building address cannot be seen by the
public, a monument, pole or another similar structure must be placed
to hold identification that can be seen from the street or road in
front of the property.
