Unless otherwise required by law, or by a court of competent jurisdiction, no Village officer or employee, and no other person present at an executive session of any board or agency of the Village of North Hills, shall disclose, by any means, any matter or information discussed or deliberated upon, or any action or determination taken or made, during a properly convened executive session of such board or agency. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any such officer, employee or other person may disclose the nature and content of any such discussion, deliberation, action or determination only to the extent necessary to effectuate, implement or enforce any such action or determination, or to prepare official minutes for the executive session. In addition to any other penalty provided by law, the Village may institute such legal or equitable proceedings as may be available to prevent a violation of this chapter.
