A. 
Maintenance of private space. Every occupant of a dwelling unit or dwelling shall keep in clean and sanitary condition that part of the dwelling, dwelling unit or premises thereof, which he or she occupies or controls.
B. 
Maintenance of equipment. Every occupant of a dwelling or dwelling unit shall be responsible for the exercise of proper care and cleanliness in the use and operation of all plumbing fixtures, sanitary facilities, appliances and equipment therein.
C. 
Extermination. Every occupant of a single dwelling unit shall be responsible for the extermination of any rodents, vermin or other pests therein if that unit is the only dwelling unit involved.
D. 
Exits and exit ways. Every occupant of a dwelling unit shall keep from obstructing all hallways, stairways, fire escapes and exits from his or her dwelling unit. Storage of personal belongings in hallways or on stairways is prohibited where said storage interferes with the passage of persons.
E. 
Garbage and refuse. Every occupant of a dwelling unit shall see to the proper and sanitary disposal of garbage and refuse into covered receptacles. Rubbish is to be set out for pick up on the days designated by the local government.
F. 
Refrigerators. It shall be unlawful for any owner or occupant to leave or permit to remain on the premises and in a Place accessible to children any abandoned or unattended refrigerator or icebox.
G. 
Limiting occupancy. Occupants of a dwelling unit shall limit the occupancy of that part of the premises or which he or she occupies or controls to the maximum permitted by this chapter.
