Editor's Note: This local law supersedes former
Ch. 13B, Environmental Quality Review, adopted 6-7-77 as Local Law
No. 3, 1977.
The purpose of this local law is to implement
for the Town of Islip the State Environmental Quality Review Act and
the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder. Therefore, the rules
and regulations set forth in Part 617 of Title 6 of the New York Codes
Rules and Regulations, as amended, will govern the environmental review
of all actions, as that term is defined in Part 617 of Title 6 of
NYCRR, that are undertaken, funded or approved by the Town of Islip.
This local law shall take effect upon its adoption
and the filing of three (3) certified copies in the office of the
Secretary of State.
