Unless otherwise noted, the words in this chapter
have the following meanings:
As defined in § 1224 of the Vehicle and Traffic
Law.
A vessel, ship, raft or any other floating craft.
The person actually holding title to a vehicle or boat.
Abandoned or impounded vehicles which are not redeemed within
the time permitted by the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
Every vehicle operated or driven upon a highway, except devices
propelled by muscular power or used exclusively upon stationary rails
or tracks, and snowmobiles.
The New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law, § 1224,
and any amendments thereto.
