It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to leave outside of any building or dwelling, in a place accessible to children, any abandoned, unattended or discarded icebox, refrigerator or any other container of any kind which has an airtight door or lock which may not be released for opening from the inside of said icebox, refrigerator or container.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to leave outside of any building or dwelling, in a place accessible to children, any abandoned, unattended or discarded icebox, refrigerator or any other container of any kind which has an airtight snap lock or other device thereon without first removing the said snap lock or doors from said icebox, refrigerator or container.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to leave in a place accessible to children any abandoned or unattended well, cesspool or cistern without an adequate and substantial cover.
Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine of not more than $500 or imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days, or both. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such.
