The Borough shall be divided into 12 districts, which shall be differentiated according to use, area to be covered by buildings and height of buildings, and which shall be known and designated as follows:
District No. 1, Residence Area A
District No. 2, Residence Area B
District No. 3, Business Area
District 3A (All properties presently located in the Business District No. 3, from the western border of the Business district, to the west side of both Lewis Street and Perry Street.)
District No. 4, Commercial Area
District No. 4A, Office Area A
District No. 4B, Office Area B
District No. 5, Industrial Area
District 5A, Industrial Area (All properties presently located in the Industrial Area with frontage on either the east side of Herbert Avenue, or Andres Street, Reuten Drive or the west side of Ruckman Road, between Reuten Drive and Homans Avenue)
District No. 6, AH (Affordable Housing) District
District No. 7, Conservation Zone (added by Ordinance No. 2014:1169)
District No. 8, Residential Quadruplex (RQ)

NOTE: 2013 Zoning Map was adopted by Ordinance No. 2014:1168;
These districts shall be located and designated on a map known as the "Zoning Map, Borough of Closter, Bergen County, New Jersey," dated December 2013 and filed in the office of the Clerk of the Borough of Closter, and which map is declared to be part of this chapter.[1]
