The Town hereby votes to rescind all previous
fire prevention codes adopted and votes to adopt the following basic
code for the use of the Town of Alfred. A copy of this code is on
file in the Selectmen's office and at the fire station.

The Town hereby votes to adopt the National Fire Protection
Association Code, in relation to the installation of solid fuel appliances,
or as revised, as follows: NFPA 211, along with: NFPA 14, NFPA 25,
NFPA 30A, NFPA 54, NFPA 58, NFPA 101, NFPA 750, NFPA 2001 and others
as adopted or amended by Maine Office of State Fire Marshal.
